Lamb ribs
I bought some lambribs yesterday from the butchers, can i freeze them as i got about 6 small ribs for £1.Also i recently got some lamb bones from morrisons and Ellie found them easy to crunch up,is it ok for her to eat the bones as i bought them to help clean her teeth.

Re: Lamb ribs
Lamb bones are perfect, if they are not all ready frozen, then freeze them to kill off any germs, then just run them under the tap to get rid of any freeze burn. The only bones you cannot give a dog is cooked or any weiht bearing bones. Xx

Re: Lamb ribs
they don't need to be frozen if you want to feed them that day, but freeze if you want to save them
and yes raw bones are completely fine for your dog to eat

Freezing won't kill off bacteria, but will preserve them if you want to keep some for later.
