Pink Milo

Milo has a very thin coat and he does glow pink at times from various parts of his body (as you can tell from his pic)   . His back is fine but his face, under his front legs, his back leg (the white one) are ever so pink cos there's hardly any hair. Will this hair grow eventually do you think? He seems to get scratched all the time cos there's not much protection bless him  

Daisy's underneath doesn't have much hair cover either x

Bugs got a naked little belly too!

Katy is very pink under her armpits & belly, not much fur. She gets a lot of scratches when she bulldozes through the undergrowth   

Aww okay - I must admit I do like his little pink tummy though. Maybe he'll need a little coat in the winter.

Yeah Bug usually has a coat from Dec-Feb time. They really feel the cold!

Same here. We wouldn't go through winter without going through 3 coats .as she was growing so quick. I'm going to buy her another tweed one this year as its warm comfy to wear and looks really smart although was ridicuilessly expensive to buy at the pet shop.

My OH doesn't believe in putting dogs in coats (ex police dog handler who knows everything - erm not) - we've had many arguments over it. I told him - you wouldn't like to go out without your shirt on in the rain and snow and wind so why would poor little Staffs

Bree our previous staff hated coats, and wouldn't even walk with a coat on .. so that strengthened his point worse luck.

I'm going to crochet him one anyway and try again.

Just do . It's not a dog wearing silly skirt! I think it's a necessity fur furless staffies in cold weather.
