need help/advice
hi all i have a 9 month old staffy and the last month he has been peeing on his kennel (outside walls) now as i said this only just started to happen and it is frustrating because it happens at night or early mornings so i can't catch him in the act, he is pretty good with toilet training so i don't know what has changed
Any advice to stop this behavior, or any reasons why this would happen
thanks rich

Re: need help/advice
I guess he doesn't sleep in the kennel ?? But it seems he's trying to mark it as his own. Could another animal be around it when he's indoors ?

Thats the thing he does sleep in the kennel and he is an outdoor dog, the kennel is under a verandah and no other animals go near it

Re: need help/advice
sounds like either marking property of regression on the toilet training front. both can happen at this age, my girl was toilet trained from an early age and then at 8 months decided she was going to start crapping all over the house! had to go back to basics with her for about two weeks.

Re: need help/advice
Try cleaning the area with biological washing powder, this will remove the scent rather than just masking it. Going back to basics again will help.
