Help! Spade issues...
Hello, after some advice, we had our staffy spade 3 years ago. Every 3 to 5 months her bits swell up and we take her back into the vets. They issue anti-b and it clears up. Last time the vet told me that sometimes the operation can miss parts and If there's a bit still in there it can be causing this and another operation would be needed to investigate.
We need the operation, because she needs to be well, but are the vets liable?
Thanks,

If they had performed the operation properly, your dog wouldn't be suffering i would seek advice from another vet. By rights they should perform the next operation free of charge.

I would suggest a second opinion too.

I think it is a very grey area as the op was 3 years ago. I would speak to the head vet at your current vets and express your concerns - also put it in writing so you have track record of it and go from there.
