Help!? Food issues Empty Help!? Food issues

Post by Kcaudery Thu Aug 15 2013, 07:31

My little binks has a runny poo. His 12weeks Monday.

We have been to the vets who put him on royal chain chicken and rice, as well as a pro-kolin paste three times a day. Well to us it's got worse his poo is more runny and sometimes containing blood. Vet has told us to continue with the tinned food and past then return in 5days.

To us this isn't good enough and we would like some experienced owners ideas!? We worried his only a pup, his normal in himself we just don't want to risk loss of weight or him turning ill.

Thanks

I haven't experienced this myself sorry. Vinnie has only had blood in his stools once and I put it down to where he was straining, as it soon cleared up. If you are not happy though I would take a trip back to the vets before the 5 days are up. Keep us updated x

Light meals is a good idea, darcy had something similar a few weeks ago and the light meals for a few days worked a treat Smile
