how to start raw

We are going to get the stuff for raw to wean him on it, how did people wean onto raw, I've read and had loads of conflicting advice!!!

Moved this to Staffy Raw Food Diets, sorry have never fed raw but there are those here that do, I'm sure someone will be along very soon to help

I never weaned Darcy Freya, I just stopped kibble Wednesday and started raw in the Thursday. Remember chicken for a couple of weeks until his tummy & poops are normal xx

Yeah I am thinking of doing the same, because I don't wanna mess his tummy up, I'm gonna start on natures menu first until I can get my head around all the quantities etc they have some in the Petshop in st Thomas, so I'm gonna get some Friday, so many people of said it's fine to wean them others said cold turkey, and others said give him it for lunch and smaller amounts of kibble for brekie...so confusing

Kibble and raw have different digestion rates so I'd swap straight over Hun.

Yeah that's what I thought!! Ill do it Friday, that way I can get enough to last a week

That's what we did as well

Yes do a straight swap, Daisy had her kibble one evening, the next morning scarambled eggs, I went to the shop that day and then started raw in the evening  

We switched straight away too and had no problems Good luck! Hope you both enjoy it!
