The Puppy has FINALLY Landed

Kayla came home today! She loved the car journey home and then has been racing round the flat like a mad man. She's now crashed out on my lap asleep.

Thanks for the kind comments guys, she is so well behaved as long as you dont leave the room. She barks and whines terribly.

First night it was bed at 12. She barked 12-2 then started again at 6.
Second night slept till 4 then started.
Last night again slept till 4 then started.
At 4:45 approx once she'd settled down i brought her basket in the bedroom to keep her quiet till i woke up at 7.

She is getting better just please tell me it will be quick I NEED SLEEP!!!!!

Aw bless her. Does she need to wee when she wakes up? That was the main reason mine woke up and whined when he was very young. It does get better and it doesn't usually take too long. They really are a bit like babies at first!

She's actually really good on the toilet, she only goes twice a day and then 3/4 pee's which I think is nothing.

At the moment I'm leaving the crate open for her to go as she pleases, id rather get the noise under control first before the toilet as she cant go out till she's 10 weeks.

It is just the separation anxiety thing. She is getting better i know that I just cant wait as she will be the perfect dog then.

It takes time but will be so worth all the effort. I know at times I thought 'Charlie is never gonna get it!' but he did and is so amazing now. You'll look back on this and wonder what all the fuss was about
