Hello I'm new :) need elf on toilet training !!
My 12 week old staff has stopped using her pads for about 2 and a bit weeks now.. When we 1st got her at 8 weeks she was using them 9/10 now she won't even go on them. We live in a flat but are moving to a house in 4 days with a garden. She doesn't pee in her crate how can I get her to go on her pads again !!! Help !!

Hi & Welcome from Flo and me
I don't have any experience with pads as Flo is an older rescue girl but I'm sure others that have used pads will be able to offer some advice.

Re: Hello I'm new :) need elf on toilet training !!
Hi and welcome from Meg and me.
I didn't use the pads, I just kept letting Meg out on the garden and if she did a poo or wee, she got major praise and a treat. If she did it in the house, I just cleaned it up and used a spray to get rid of the smell so she didn't toilet there regularly. There were only a few accidents in the house (some of which were my fault by not letting her out when she needed to go), but the important thing to remember is not to scold them for going in the house. Ignore them, it's far more effective. After all, they're only babies and they have to learn.

I think you can buy a spray to encourage them to toilet in an area. Maybe spray the pads with it.
