Well done Daisy
I often let Rocky off the lead now for a game of fetch but I can only do in one particular place where I can see for miles around

Re: Off lead
We try to let Theia of lead on her main walk everyday. She is never more than 20 feet or so away from us and just toddles along. What we can't get her to do is chase the ball! Fine with it in the garden but not when you want her to at the park. Her recall is brilliant, so far, but she's never been near enough to another dog off lead to blank me yet!
Keep up the good work.
Pete.

Re: Off lead
That's great!!! Wish I could let Marquez off lead but as we live in the centre of Jakarta with the worst traffic in the world and more people terrified of him than not, I'll have to continue to keep him on a lead. Can't wait for next month when we move back to Europe - he's going to be in heaven at home with all the safe space he'll have to run around off lead

Re: Off lead
Just a wee suggstion which you may have already tried. Call her to you frequently while on your walks. Put her lead on and walk a short distance then let her off again. Do this several times. The purpose being, to not reinforce in her mind that when the lead goes on the walk is over. She will be less reluctant to come to you. I do this with Bacchus because I have to be very careful with him off-lead near unfamiliar dogs and he never objects to having his lead on. In fact I only need to show him the clip end of his lead and he'll sit to get it on.
