I've never had a male neutered & never had a problem with any of them, but I've been a reasonably experienced trainer for 40 years!

My current dog is extremely dominant, and although not overly dog aggressive he can't be completely trusted with dogs I don't know. If a dog challenges him he'll pin it down.

If I were you I'd read up on the pros & cons of neutering so that you have an informed decision as to whether or not to neuter. I found this site very informative........
http://www.doglistener.co.uk/medical/neuter.shtml

An unneutered male can be a handful, and is more likely to develop testicular cancer (although none of mine ever did, and I've had 5 males).

If you do decide to neuter, I would wait until he is mature (around 18 months - 2 years) so that his full size and character/temperament can develop properly.

When all's said & done, it's your decision & nobody can make that decision for you! As long as you've read the facts (both for and against) and thought about your choice, then that's what's right for you.

I neuter mine purely for his bennefit, he's not gonna be used as a stud therefore I would rather get rid of risks of behavioural problems, dog aggression and health risks. Everyone's opinion on this subject is differant, a lot of males are entire and are brilliant where as some are entire and slightly off the rails.
Seeing all the poor staffy's in kennels I wouldn't want to add to it encase and accident happened and he managed to mate.
Especially having a female now aswell, his neutered and she will be when she is of age for exactly the same reason's.
My previous staff was neutered also when we rescued him and he was highly dog aggressive.
