El Perro Harness - help Empty El Perro Harness - help

Post by saffi28 Mon Jun 23 2014, 10:20

I have been using the El Perro harness for a couple of months now. It looks lovely but can I ask a question of those who also use the fleece lined one.

The buckle moves round to just behind the front legs even if I bring it right up to the highest point on the side when I put them on. I have noticed both girls have a bald patch appearing on the back of their elbows just on the side where the buckle is (typical of dogs who don't have a soft bed to sleep on). This is the reason I changed harnesses in the first place because the Julius K9 had started to cause a thinning of Roxie's fir on either side where it rubbed.

These were really expensive and I don't want to change harnesses again in the short term. Does anyone else have this problem?

We have never used the El Perro harness so cannot advize on it, Rocky has the EzyDog chestplate harness.
