Sore around genitalias

Could someone tip me how this can be cured. Our staff are licking herself many times a day, and have had this red/dark area for abot 12 days. Maybe this washing/licking makes it worse?

It does look sore, not come across this before. Maybe pop her into the vets.

Ouch that does look sore, have you been putting any cream on it?

Meg did this when she was a pup with the same result. I bought some olive oil cream (Wilko's, I think), it's a bit like e45 cream. I put this on a couple of times a day and it soon cleared up. I cleaned the sore with some of those antiseptic wipes before applying the cream (spread it quite thinly and tried to make sure there was no excess). It soon cleared up and Meg never bothered overly licking the area whilst or since it healed. It must be sore for them to keep licking at it, I guess

She went better just after the first day of treatment. Got a oily fat cream.

My Flo does this, in Her case out of habit. We just make sure she doesn't get sore by cleaning and applying cream as already suggested.

Hi , my Staffy also has or had this problem just like your Staffy.
I did a little research and found that neem oil works a treat. I just put it on straight from the bottle, as it's an oil when it gets warm, and has great healing properties, and won't hurt if they eat it either. I put this on my girl 3 times a day. She would the try to lick it off, but that didn't matter it was still helping her.
I do hope this helps you as it certainly helped my female Staffy gypsy.
