Kong ice lolly
As it was so hot today I made Alfie up some DOG gravy and froze it in an old mug, then tipped it out for him. He loved it but he got through it in a minute. Has anyone managed to do this in a Kong? I have frozen lots of foodie things in them, but not a more watery substance. I thought about plugging the end up with peanut butter, but worried in case it leaks before it frozen? Just wanted it to last a bit longer for him.

I regularly fill Koda's Kong with yoghurt & freeze it, I just plug each end with peanut butter

Re: Kong ice lolly
Try sellotape or something then pull it off before giving it. Put it in a tupperware dish the first time in case it doesn't work!!! Does anyone else find that peanut butter doesn't freeze properly?

Still haven't tried yoghurt Bek, will get some tomorrow. Just plain natural isn't it?
Lynn I usually mix peanut butter with other things like mashed sweet potatoes and it freezes well like that. It has a high fat content though so may be that.

Re: Kong ice lolly
I just plug the end of the Kong with a dab of peanut butter and freeze it, it's always fine like that.

Yup , frozen peanut butter is perfect. Doesn't matter what's going on, if Karma finds PB she's a busy, happy puppy!
