Ruby - Final vaccination Empty Ruby - Final vaccination

So Ruby is nearly 14 weeks and had her final vaccination today.

The vet told me to wait 10 more days before taking her out???? I have her booked to start puppy classes tomorrow at a local pet store as she isn't getting any younger. Do you think this is ok?

She has finally realised there is another dog over the back fence and cries like it is her long lost mother. At the vet this morning she was straight down with her head and stomach touching the floor blubbering at the other dogs feet, looked like she was saying just love me!

She needs some serious doggy to doggy time and I really don't want to wait another ten days but am so confused because some say after the second needle she was fine to go out, some people don't get all needles, blah blah, the internet is a very contradictory source of info so would love to hear your thoughts.

In other news, she has learnt to climb on the dining room table, the outdoor table and generally loves terrorising my children by playing tug of war with the pants they are wearing.

TIA

Peta.

You're right, the internet it a contradictory place! I think we had to wait about a week. Contact the puppy school and see what they suggest too.

Sounds like she's ready to get out there and enjoy life! And she sounds like quite the climber Smile

Peta, my vet said Toots was fine to go out a week after the final vaccine.
She went straight into classes, so I'd say, yes started as soon as you can  Smile

We had to wait 5 days after our injection, but tbh I took him out 3 days after and he's fine
