bandage issues Empty bandage issues

My poor Pep split one of her pads the other day and had to have it glued and stapled back together (horrific experience, I cried more than she did). It was bandaged yesterday, twice, but they keep coming off and was wondering if anyone had any tips on keeping them on before I re bandage it today?

Have you tried an ace bandage with the metal clips? With a little bitter apple to keep her from biting the bandage off? Also Neosporian to help the healing process.

I bandaged Vins then a sock over top. Then sealed the top of the leg (On top of the sock) with duct tape. It did work  Big Grin

No I haven't, thank you will give it a go. The vet said it might come off but didn't say what to do if it did, don't think he was impressed with having to be oncall lol! Briefly spoke to the reception today who said I need to re bandage but again no more advice. Never thought of duct tape either lol, it really is a multi purpose tape! He looks so proud of his bandage too haha! Peppas not too impressed, especially with her 'cone of shame' haha!

Rocky had a cut pad last year that we kept re bandaging with vet wrap, ended up getting him a doggy boot which solved the problem:

Thanks that'll be handy for keeping it dry when she goes out for a wee as the vet said it can't get wet, she's currently outside with a rubber glove taped to her foot lol
