Just wanted to know everyones thoughts, opinions and experiences with herbal/natural treatments for dogs.
Iv see a few for issues like hyperactivness and anxiety but wonder how wel they work. Seen some recomended by trainers for calming and making training easier.

I actually prefer them over a chemical approach although you do still have to be careful. I'm using a Vaccine Detox at the moment with our boy and we also have Rescue Remedy which is used to treat anxiety, depression, etc. My brother and a friend who works in a vet clinic as well as showing dogs swear by this product as being extremely effective on the dogs and much safer than pharmaceutical drugs. Just don't use more than the recommended dose of some of the relaxing ones like she did once because her dog became too relaxed to perform in the ring

Hey, i've used bach flower remedies in kennels and studied the results, they varied but I've known of them to be useful in pet dogs in less stressful circumstances. Always worth a go, you can read up about which ones would be right for you online.

I've not used any for stress/anxiety but use neem and echinacea for other health issues
