discharge from ear
hi all cant get edd into the vets till monday noticed the last couple of days he's one ear looked dirty right by the entrance just thought it was mud as iv and him have been digging in garden but he fell a sleep on me so i thought id get baby wipe and just clean up the mud (well what i thought was mud) and its deffo not mud almost like a brown discharge it dont look like dry blood but he now scratches at the offending ear
any idea as to what it could be

As a guess just an ear infection. Mine seems to be prone to them! I know when she gets them cause she shakes her head a lot, and trys scratching it all the time. Took her to the vets and all she needed was a course of antibiotics and drops. x

ok cool well i got fed up with this vets all ways look down on u sort of thing so im now going for a full check up tomora at new vets witch seem very happy to see edd tomora morning so ill report back once we back :0

hi, id say the same. blayde suffers from ear infections quite abit and really doesnt like me putin drops in (perhaps it had somethin 2do wiv the vets givin me a massive bottle!) but anyway "Aurizon" iv found is best 1 n he was ok bcuz the bottle is small and it comes wiva long rubber nozzle 2 make it easier. his ear didnt take that long 2clear up with this- about 1week n a half

yes looks like ear infection so he has had couple of injections (1st ones in my ownership) didnt bite the vet even allowed him to give him another!!!
been given some drops with instructions to mas-sarge the ear and clear out anything thats in there so thats more fuss he is going to get now
and the best bet he got given a check up and they found nothing wrong with him even commented on his pulling power lol
