Flea treatments
Does anyone know of a good natural/homeopathic remedy for fleas?
They hate the advocate being put on. What about lungworm though?

Re: Flea treatments
Sorry, I don't know about any natural remedies for fleas, we use Effipro spot on treatment.
Have a look through the list in the link below which was put together by a former forum member:

Re: Flea treatments
I don't know either, only that my old dachshund had garlic everyday as a prevention for fleas. Capsules from Dorwest. Hence he never had them in 17 years.
With Vin I don't treat unless he has them and then its with Advocate as we do such a lot of wood walks so covers most things. x

Thanks everyone
There are natural alternatives for fleas, (they don't have fleas at the moment), but lungworm is a real concern.
I can't seem to find anything other than advocate to prevent this. I'll keep hunting

Re: Flea treatments
I have heard carrot seed oil can work for lung worm, how reliable it is I don't know, personally I use a proper wormer from the vets
