Registered breeding
Just wondering not planning. Whats involved in becoming a registered breeder and how you go from being a byb to a registered breeder.

Re: Registered breeding
registered breeders tend to work or show and breed as they want to continue there lines by keeping a pup from health tested parents and will stay in contact with you even years later and will help you with any advice you need. they are not in it for money but for the welfare of the breed

Re: Registered breeding
some can be worse then back yard breeders. i think a good breeder will think about health & looks, some of these shows have a COI over 30% plus
Re: Registered breeding
So if i was to breed(im not by the way) and had both with health test and good lines, is that ok????

Re: Registered breeding
the best way to find out is to go to a few shows and see what the judges think as well as to a ringcraft for staffords and get honest opinions and they will help and guide you as they need to be compatible with each other and you need to understand the pedigree lines. and knowing about genetics so having a mentor that will teach you everything they know. hope this helps
