Post by peppa Thu Mar 20 2014, 00:36

we got peppa at 8 weeks and she was biting/nipping hard it does get better although she is still mouthing and chewing .when she bites try yelping like their mom and litter mates do (something like a loud aahh..) and give her a chewing toy instead of your fingers and just be patient.
about food u have much better foods than pedigree but james well beloved made our peppa really hyper active although she really liked it much better than the expensive orijen .has anybody else experienced this? as i wonder if its only her?

JWB tends to make Barney hyper too. I have been considering a change.

Echo above, when Gordon bites normally when he's excited we just get a toy and put it in his mouth, it takes time but it's normal for a puppy  Smile

Are you doing any rough play with her or on the ground with her when she does this? I ask because if she is only doing it with you these are likely reasons and you may be encouraging the behaviour without knowing. Suki does this with me but it's my fault for playing rough with her.
