Rocky seems a bit unwell
Rocky is 7 months now and he's been doing great.
Since we got him at 10 weeks he has been very fussy with food and I have tried several combinations but always including JW biscuits. He weighs 16kg and he's recently filled out and has that chunky stature so he's certainly not under weight. Up until last week he ate 3 meals a day on top of his breakfast.
Last week I changed to JW Junior biscuits but he wasnt keen on them. Im not sure whether it was because they are bigger or the fact I got him a different flavour.
Anyway Monday he enjoyed most of the day in/out of the garden with me, messing around gardening and washing the cars etc, we had a great day and he absolutely adores the sun..........like me.
He didnt eat his food at 1.00.pm or his dinner at 6.00pm but had some very late on.
Tuesday he ate his scrambled egg as norm and we spent most of the day in/out of the garden again but he didnt eat either of his meals again until late on 9.00pm when I mixed a little bit of steak and juice out of the frying pan to his meal and he ate the lot.
Today has been the same. He has eaten the scrambled egg but just picked at his meal eating only a couple of mouth fulls.
He has been quite lethargic/sleepy and not his usual cheeky self since Monday which I suppose could be down to low energy levels due to lack of food.??
I cant understand why he wont eat his meals so I am concerned whether he has eaten something in the garden or is he just bored of his food.
Any thoughts or advice?

Re: Rocky seems a bit unwell
He may have picked something up outside that he shouldn't be eating, when did he last have a worming treatment ?
Rocky, sorry our Rocky, has been eating a bit less just lately too, could be the weather changing to be a bit warmer too.

Wormed around 2 months ago. Could that be the issue?

Re: Rocky seems a bit unwell
Maybe try him on 2 meals a day, I think that would be ok at 7 months?

Re: Rocky seems a bit unwell
Well he seems to have perked up the last couple of days but we are only giving him 2 x meals per day now.
I am thinking its something to do with us giving too much of our food also.
I admit i'm too soft with him.

Re: Rocky seems a bit unwell
Ah those puppy dog eyes! Best to try steer clear of our food, glad things have perked up.
