I can't really see much in the photos, his patch on his nose looks a little bare, is he crated? Just wondering if he is rubbing it on something if it has only come up in the past couple days.

As always though if you are worried and only you know your dog then I would go to the vets as it could be anything. Good luck and let us know how you go Xx

It could be many things so I'd pop him the vets, hopefully they'll do a skin scrape to rule out demodex and go from there xx

As I said could be many things, pop to the vets and see what they say, they can do a scrape to see if its mites, it could be an allergy, dry skin, anything really, but try not to worry all easily sorted if it is that Xx

Demodex usually starts on the face so I would get the vets to do a skin scrape to hopefully rule that out, let us know how you get on xx

Bane has has bald patches along the front sides of his ears for quite some months now and the vets are still figuring it out. They are thinking allergies but hair loss could be mites so vets would be best Smile

Bless him, when Scrumpy had mites they could see if there where mites visible there and then by holding the scrape up to a microscope, I hope the results come back with a solution on Friday Xx

The Synulox is an antibiotic for skin problems and a few other things
The Loxicom is like difene for dogs although he doesnt seem in pain it was giving to us just incase he is or if it does become painful Sad
