skin problem??
Hi peeps
in the last couple of days iv noticed a couple of patches on Busters face and around his ears
Do these patches look normal or what should i prepare myself for when i get to my vet
you can see the black patch beside his nose and on the edges of his ears ? ?
Thanks
john

Re: skin problem??
I can't really see much in the photos, his patch on his nose looks a little bare, is he crated? Just wondering if he is rubbing it on something if it has only come up in the past couple days.
As always though if you are worried and only you know your dog then I would go to the vets as it could be anything. Good luck and let us know how you go Xx

Re: skin problem??
It could be many things so I'd pop him the vets, hopefully they'll do a skin scrape to rule out demodex and go from there xx

Re: skin problem??
As I said could be many things, pop to the vets and see what they say, they can do a scrape to see if its mites, it could be an allergy, dry skin, anything really, but try not to worry all easily sorted if it is that Xx

Re: skin problem??
Not sure what it could be, maybe a reaction to something or an infection sure the vet will put you right

Re: skin problem??
Demodex usually starts on the face so I would get the vets to do a skin scrape to hopefully rule that out, let us know how you get on xx

Re: skin problem??
Bane has has bald patches along the front sides of his ears for quite some months now and the vets are still figuring it out. They are thinking allergies but hair loss could be mites so vets would be best

Glad you have something for Buster, and fingers and paws crossed for the results on friday. You are lucky Buster likes it at the vets, Pixee gets so stressed out, its a nightmare. You need to de stress yourself, how about some of your fav things/drinks?
