Re: Advice needed please
Advice needed please, we have a one year old bitch staffy who is very hyper towards new people who come into our house, we find it really hard to calm her down and she ends up out in the garden jumping at the windows to get attention. she is brilliant with my 4 year old daughter, but our main worry is we have a new baby due any day now and we are worried about how she will react to the new addition. We don't want to have to give her up because we love her so much. Thank you

Re: Advice needed please
I created a new topic for you so that more people will see it. A few questions; what is she fed on, how much exercise does she get, and what training have you done with her so far?

Re: Advice needed please
Its not something I've done but if you take something home that smells of the baby and put it in the dogs bed before you bring the baby home its supposed to help

Re: Advice needed please
Obviously supervised introductions should take place as soon as possible.
I have introduced three babies to two Staffords and it amazed me every time how understanding and apparently aware of the situation they were.
Obviously I can't speak for your dog, but take comfort that Staffords are usually very good with this situation.
