Re: Walking/running belts
I have the Trixie one I know a few people don't like the company but for the price the quality is great, I use it regularly with Ledger the clips are strong and the lead well withstands when he turns, grabs the lead in his mouth and tries to get me to run faster

Re: Walking/running belts
Hope Daisy is not the kind that likes to walk/run in front of you, there will be a few post cards on the way
Good luck with it, it will be fun for you both.

Re: Walking/running belts
Just take it slow to begin with and expect to stop randomly, tbh Daisy shouldn't be as bad as Ledger. Check out the Canix site as I think there was some stuff on there. I have a separate harness for Ledger so he knows he can pull when wearing it and steal from the huskies and use 'mush' or another keep going command

Re: Walking/running belts
Thanks Jules, I'll check that site out. Daisy is always walked in a harness anyway. I have to think of a phrase, think I'd feel abit silly saying mush all the time!! We will be going very slow at first as I'm not used to running either. I really miss going to the gym but I can't now with daisy so we'll do our exercise togeather, walking just doesn't cut it, I need more high impact!

I can't believe there are so many of you who are running with your dog. Makes me feel very lazy and guilty.

Re: Walking/running belts
Ai we have eased off lately, 5km in the heat as it is, is too much for Ledger so tending to be I go for a run then take him out for ball play/walk as my cool down
I have all these good intentions of going just for a couple miles with him when I get up on early shifts but that 4:30am alarm more often than not gets the snooze button hit
