for little treats I give daisy things like dried liver, heart and lung for something a bit bigger, dried or raw pizzles, raw or dried pigs ears, anything that is natural not processed

Dried hoofs to chew on, they can be filled like a kong, dried snouts, I also have some dried venison tongue at the moment, chicken feet, raw or dried, dried rabbits ears, though daisy wouldn't eat them, she has a thing about rabbit!!

i was more thinking about bones my sam got really bad teeth which need sort if i go to the butcher what do i need to ask for?

Any raw bones apart from beef as they are denser that dogs teeth so can cause fractures, I've had freeby pork and lamb bones from the butchers x

Yeah, pork and lamb bones are ideal. Also ask for fresh hooves - they're healthier than the dry ones (the dry ones use loads of nasty chemicals to get them the way they are) and fresh ones keep them just as busy.
Lambs trotters are also good for a chew.

Yep any bone that isn't a large weight bearing bone or marrow bone, I'd ask if they do chicken carcasses they are great for a dog not used to bones
