Re: dog stinks help
I would say you are just over washing, have you tried leaving it for a few months, use baby wipes if really needed, dogs really need the oils they have in there fur, especially in this wet weather, over bathing could be the reason Xx

As Janey you are over bathing, the change in food should help, give it a little time x

Re: dog stinks help
I agree with above. Cut back on the bathing, use baby wipes were needed and the jwb should help too

Re: dog stinks help
Btw what do you bathe him with?
Can't add much more to the above, stop washing him Ledger only gets a bath if he rolls in fox poo or on the odd occasion where he has got coated in mud mostly just a good dry and brush does the trick

Re: dog stinks help
If Shadow smells like human feet/parmesan cheese, then it may be a yeast infection.

Re: dog stinks help
maybe try adding some coconut oil to his food ? .. and/or rub it in his coat ..
try a site search for 'coconut oil'
i was told by the vet .. that once-a-month bathing is o.k. ..
but not more often than that ..

Re: dog stinks help
Are you able to tell where abouts on his body the smell is coming from ie: his feet or ears etc. ?

Re: dog stinks help
Might be worth a trip to the vets in case there is an underlying health issue?
