Re: dog absolutely stinks
Could be many things! If her diet or treats are really rich that might make her gassy! My girl none stop lets them out if I give her pedigree shmackos but she loves them so I strictly keep them for training - while in a field if you give your dog charcole based treats like the black "Winalot Shapes" that might calm it down a bit

Re: dog absolutely stinks
This can depend a lot on what you feed your dog, but could also be an underlying problem. The charcoal biscuits will help but next time you are at the vets with her you may want to mention it and in case of anything more troubling. Don't worry unduly about it.
Wagg is not the greatest food to give her, she how she goes with the Wainwrights, change over gradually over the course of about a week, and she how things are then.

Re: dog absolutely stinks
Its the wagg its absolutely rubbish.
Farting is also about gulping air, so try a bowl with a brick in it to stop the gobbling too fast.

Uhmm I only ever give my dog biscuit treats really as I find ones that aren't leave her pretty gassy! I feed her thinks like the marrow bones, gravy bones, Winalot shapes (she goes crazy for those!). I make my own treats for summer time as she's not much of a drinker but you can make them for any whether really; they're great for after long walkies and lots of play in the house! She loves rawhide sticks which any pet stores do I guess; I also go to the butchers and pick up tripe and pig/cow ears, and trotters if she's been a super good girl. She only really gets these as a treat though but I give tripe sticks to clean her teeth and help with the coat! Many people on here swear by stag bars/deer antlers but haven't tried any myself as yet!
The treats I was telling you about: get some kind of stock cube (it needs to be unsalted) and mix with water, put a bit of meat in the middle and freeze it! It makes a great treat for them

Well, I feed Loki Wainwright's and he never really smells, so I think it could be the food. If you change her onto Wainwright's (gradually) and she gets better, it's just the food. If it continues, it could be something else, but at the moment that seems to be the unlikely problem.

Re: dog absolutely stinks
I have found diet is really the biggest contributor to the fart-fest. Mine are on a raw diet and fart, but it isn't as frequent. However, similar to people, each dog is a little different and so you may have one that has a bit more sensitive tummy. After you switch foods, keep us posted on it!

Re: dog absolutely stinks
Ledger is generally fine and is fed on Pero at the moment but my parents feed their dog Bakers and I know for sure if he has stolen some of her food when he stops there
I had run short of pocket biscuits the other night so just grabbed a £1 box of Wagg Salmon treats in Tesco on the way home from work, Ledger is going absolutely crazy for them and so far no adverse effects
