Re: still biting
Banes is going through cycles of biting and not biting, at the mo he is just mouthing, I'm presuming it's just things they grow out of eventually if the keep getting told no or you yelp. He's 21wks tomorror

Re: still biting
I found if I yelp loudly he tends to stop and just lick, but like sazzle said consistency and patients is important,

Re: still biting
I'm hearing you, Koda is 14wks and snaps like a crocodile it's like he actually has no control over his mouth, he's hurt us a few beauties and we've made sure he knew what he'd done, but it does get VERY tiring. I too hope it will stop sooooooooon !

Re: still biting
My right hand is full of scratches because of Tallulah. My friend came round last night and Tallulah seems to love her and can become very over excited. we both had to keep telling her no and at times i put her on the floor. It is very tiring when you keep having to repeat the same thing lol but it does seem to be getting better.

Re: still biting
When we first got Ruby I trawled the internet to find out whether we had got ourselves a "vicious dog" because of the nipping and biting. She was probably about the same age as Monty... When I look back now I laugh and I'm sure you'll do the same. As Rhia says, we all used to yelp very loudly, look sad and rub our hand whilst turning away from her. Now she's amazing and if you are playing ball and cover the ball with your hand she will turn her face away so she doesn't touch your skin with her teeth. It will get better

Re: still biting
Great post! as I`m a newbie that`s exactly what I was thinking and as I`ve had Belle over 3 weeks now the difference in her biting has changed alot although its still not quite acceptable!
