Biting Empty Biting

Post by tcwho Fri May 23 2014, 09:02

Our staffie Loki is 16 weeks now. Just this past week he tends to bite my daughter and I. Even if we say no and walk away he follows and jumps up and bites. His bites seem more sore now as I know he is getting stronger. It is difficult to get hold of him to put him in the room for a timeout. Does anyone have any ideas on what we can do. It's not always it's only at times. He doesn't do it to my husband, and if he does try bite him he says no and he stops. Is this a dominance thing. I really don't want him to be an aggressive dog. Any ideas will be helpful!!!!

Do you and your daughter get involved with feeding? Perhaps you could to strengthen your bond, he is still very much a baby and this does take time, it's not aggression, patience, persistence is the key xx

Thanks everyone. I have tried the water spray but he barks and goes mad. I will try stones in a container.
