Help.... hives!
Hi I'm new to the forum I've got a beautiful blue staffy called Bruno he's 7 months. Our 1st puppy after having rescues in the past.
On Sunday he came up in hives after no change to his routine at all. We gave him Piriton & on Monday the vet gave him a steroid injection continued with the Piriton but today his skin was pink & his head was covered in lumps.
He seems ok in himself but we are obviously concerned has anyone else experienced this?
Many thanks
Ella

Re: Help.... hives!
Ohhh, my old girl used to come up with this regularly, never could pinpoint exactly what caused it, she developed loads of allergies over the years, ended up on piriton daily, she was allergic to garlic, any spices herbs, pollen, grass, her feet used to swell as well! I hope your wee one isn't gonna have the same trouble. Maybe worth a try of a short course of anti histamine meds though.

Hi and welcome to the forum from Rocky and me
Definitely sounds like an allergic reaction to something, are you using anything different around the home detergents etc or perfume, body spray ?
