Hives?
Darcys woke this morning with what looks like hives/heat lumps under her fur making her fur stand up, Ive given her pirtion in case she's reacting to something. Any ideas? She was running in long grass yesterday so it could be this? Thanks in advance guys

Re: Hives?
Poor Darcy I would have thought it was an allergic reaction as she suffers from allergies doesn't she? Hope the piraton helps xx

Re: Hives?
Almost certainly sounds like a reaction to something most probably the grass, the antihistamine should help to reduce the bumps.
A wipe down with a damp cloth would also help with the irritation if any present.

Re: Hives?
hi my Diesel gets this, he has a grass allergy but before we knew this my husband walked him in a cut hay field and he was rolling and running ABOUT in it. next day he came up in hives, I took him up for a cool bath with some medicated sooting shampoo, I use aloe vera gel and various other creams that seem to help

Re: Hives?
I had the same problem gave blue boy piraton and it eased but his testicals became a little swollen and his face looked a little swollen it turns out we had to have a blood test and he was allergic to rice and that was in his food , so please don't worry but something to bear in mind
