I NEED HELP ON MY STAFFY BREED?

Hey people. im new. my names chris & my partners name is nikki. we both brought 2 staffy puppies one female she is brindle and white. and 1 male hes black and white with a tad brindle in him. anyways i have had alot of people tell me hes not full staffy and shes not, how ever the female looks more staffy. the male look x with some other breed of dog. but cant tell can you help me. if you can help id be great full i am posting some pics of the 2 of them.. tell me what you think and im open for opinions.. thanks

You have to click log in again (top right of the screen) but people dont really use that, for general chit chat people use the dog and bone bar

Cant tell but they are gorgeous

How old are they? Staffies very much grow into their looks and have odd growth spurts often go leggy before filling out.

If they aren't registered you will never truly know but unfortunately there is a lot of backyard breeding meaning there is likely a random cross a few generations back.

Where did you get the pups from? Did you see the parents?

do you have real papers if not you will never know if they pure or not

While I know its nice to find out but at the end of day it'll only be guessing and I get asked with rizz as he is a touch taller than average with unusual spots and always answer I don't really care if he's full staffy or crossed as we love him just the way he is

i did just post some new photos but not sure where they went. there are some better pics on there of them just cant find where they are lol. and yeah. even if they're not full staff it won't bother me or my mrs. we love them so much lol they're both lil terrors atm though because there getting new teeth lol.. but anyways. thanks for all your info on this subject.. im just a tad worried because people say he looks crossed pitbull staff.. wouldn't bother me in the slightest but wouldn't want to rase him then have him taken away. thats wouldn't be fair on me ore him.. and as everyone noes pitbull x breeds and pitbull dogs ar banned in the uk. so yanoe..

They look mostly staffy to me, nothing else I can pick out, and young so they will fill out. They don't look pit to me at all, I wouldn't worry about that

well there around 16-17 weeks old now and there growing so fast will they get more wider and taller then lol .and thanks for the advice matey

Could be a long time yet, I got Ledger from rescue they reckoned he was 2 but I think he was closer to 18months he filled out over the next six months it was my parents that noticed after we hadn't visited for a couple weeks that his head and shoulders were broader which considering he was also much leaner at that point

My boy has just turned two and he's had a growth spurt in the last year. He got taller in the first year and wider in the second. He's fully grown now at two years old so until they are both two you'll not know exactly how big/wide they will get

i would not worry,they actually look like my boss did,i thought the same about him,he has long legs and is quite athletic in body appearence,i was scared i had bought a pitbull cross,hes 7 months now and changing into a very handsome staff,you will see the change in them as they start to grow there very cute,i agree papers are the only way you can be sure of a full pedigree

They are both gorgeous and unlikely to be pit bull crosses. Are they from the same litter ?

Look mainly Staff to me also but as said if no papers you will never know for sure, they are gorgeous   

there both brother and sister. from the same litter obvs. anyway i have a question to everyone who brought there staffy up from a puppy.. i walked him today bare in mind hes only like 17-18 weeks old. we had seen another staffy at 8 months old. so we both introduced them and then all of a sudden rex. my dog goes for the female staffy the feels dominated by rex and hes smaller anyway i tried moving him because he was going for her snarling biting barking. u name it he was having a devil moment or something. im just wondering how i can stop him going to bite and snarl at other dogs. hes not neutered.. is that anything to do with it its almost as if hes trying to dominate every dog he sees.. if some one could help me with this id be grateful.. and also have another pic to upload..

Certainly suggest checking out puppy classes, fantastic for controlled socialization

Obviously Ledger was a bit older but I made a point to take him to obedience classes and fell lucky with the club I picked and two years later I'm still going to agailty and flyball, building up the love for staffies amongst a predominantly collie owner world

He is still nervous around larger dogs, but I am more confident in him and have discovered that he has very good 'back off' signals when a dog that makes him nervous gets too close unfortunately a lot of dogs and owners don't look for these signs

Banes is 20 weeks, I've had no problems with aggression, he just wants to play when he meets other dogs,
