Rocky Poorly Sick

Rocky was sick yesterday morning after hubby had taken him out for his morning walk. He took him to the little park near us and spent about an hour there. I had told him to stay away from the woods but he decided to go there anyway   MEN why do they always seem to do the opposite of what they are told to do. 

Anyway, hubby took Rocky again this morning and again Rocky was sick when they got back. Phoned vets and was able to get in very quickly, she couldn't see anything obviously wrong so gave us some tablets (antepsin and zantac) these will hopefully get his tummy sorted and back o how it should be.   No food for 24 hours and rest...... fun.

Poor Rocky. Sounds like it could be something he ate or came into contact with in the woods. Hope it works Kathy x

Rocky has been feeling a bit better today. I made a ginger syrup sponge earlier and felt awful eating it with him sitting near us as he hasn't be able to eat much the last couple of days. Hopefully, all being well, he can have some more to eat tomorrow as he hasn't been sick any more.

That's good, and he has something to look forward to tomorrow!   

Yes, all he has had is very small pieces of cooked chicken and some scrambled egg, poor boy probably thinks we are starving him   

Its so hard when you cant explain it to them isn't it

Yes, we are trying to make it up to him with extra cuddles, it's a tough job but someones gotta do it

We fed Rocky a small amount of his kibble earlier this morning and so far so good. He is still having his tablets so it seems we have turned a corner. Thanks for all your well wishes, they have been passed on
