Intrested in raw diet need info

First topic message reminder :

Hass any one got a diet sheet on what they feed there staffy
And do you need to buy any vits/supplements to add to the diet
He will be 17 weeks on tuesday
So want to get him started asap
He as royal canin at the moment 3 times a day with fish are cooked chicken.
And i give him a raw treat every other day like tripe,mince
But i have not tried him on raw chicken thigh with bones yet

Would i still feed him 3 time a day

Well i did what you said and just kept putting same meal down and he has eaten most of. He his defo teething cause three teeth have come out. And there is loads wobbley and bent. And he as just had his crazy 10 min running in every room in the house lol.
So will see wat he is like tomoz. Thanks for every ones advise.

Well thats us 3!!   

So just a little update. I fed him last nite and he had it all.
This morning tho put is food down only had half.
Let him out for is toilet.
1 big wee and 2 poos.
1 solid brown and 1 light brown.
But at least its no runny.
I must say tho he has gone really shinny and is shedding
So i just think he has to get used to this raw food.

They do shed a bit during the detox period, I'm sure he will get used to it   

Right as you well no bruce as been on the raw diet now for a week. He was ok at first, then he went of his food. Now he has started eating it again. But i wake up this morning to find he had done a number 2 in the kitchen. But it wernt even solid just runny.
I just feel like this raw diet is not working for him.

And this is what i have been feed him
1 chicken leg and thigh in the morning.
200g chicken mince
Then some more chicken mince.

I was gonna give him tripe to day but i dont think thats a good idea.

Cut back alittle on the chicken and add tripe to his next meal and see how he goes

Yeh i will jason.
I give him is food this morning so he still wants to eat.
Ill try him on tripe next.
Should i give it by it self are mix it

How many times you feeding a day?

I woudn't add the tripe until he his poo is solid on the chicken, it can take a couple of weeks, if its still runny by then he may be intolerent to chicken as some dogs are.

Very true saz,i thought by adding tripe or giving tripe meal would tell you if you where maybe intolerent to chicken,but go with Saz's idea

He his having 3 meals aday.
Ill keep him on the chicken for now.
Will he be losing alot of fluid while having these runny poos
There is allways fresh water out for him.
I could get some turky if he is not agreeing with the chicken.
I just dont wanna damage him in the long run.
But i do trust the people on here so fingers crossed.

As long as its just runny poo's and not constant diarrhea he shouldn't get dehydrated x
