Re: staffy breeders in wales
So sorry to hear this Peter, better that you say no now rather than in a few months time when the little one has become emotionally attached to you both.
I hope you are able to seard again maybe in a few months time

Yes does seem a bit odd does she like dogs in general or perhaps the whole thing just becoming reality scared her a little

Re: staffy breeders in wales
yes shes had dogs of her own before and when we first met , I just think the strength of the male has put her off I don't think she feels comfortable , we went to the pet shop after viewing the pups , and there was a blue in there for its jabs and she was all over it .
so all ive said to her is its going to be our dog so no need to be afraid of it as it will grow with us , she knows itll be trained properly , because that's just the way iam .we were going to see the dog again yesterday but didn't go , so I don't know I think shes confused

Re: staffy breeders in wales
Yes maybe the strength of the male Peter, but tell her from me My Vin is nearly 27kg and I am only 4ft 11 and I have trained Vin from a pup and I have no problems handling him at all. As long as the training is done from day one no probs

Re: staffy breeders in wales
yes will do , would you consider a chat with her , maybe coming from someone like yourself may help her see , as coming from me it might sound like me being selfish and not thinking of her

Re: staffy breeders in wales
not in this case steve, we saw the pups and the mother first pups were only two weeks old so the mother was quite a bit smaller than she usually is . then when we say the dad in all his glory kind of spooked her

Re: staffy breeders in wales
I sort of know how she feels only from reactions I get with Vin as he looks huge when coming towards people.
But really the softest biggest bear you could ever wish to meet.
It may have been worth her just getting to know him to have eased the fear
