Coping with the heat in SA

I know we're in our hottest months now, but in Jhb it's been particularly brutal the last month. Thanks to the forum I've learnt some amazing ways to keep the dogs busy without overheating - and some days it has been too hot to walk so mental stimulation and garden entertainment has been vital!

We do things like playing with the flirt pole, fetch, tug, chase, boomer balls, training exercises and keeping busy with frozen kongs, frozen treats and the plastic shell to swim in. I keep them indoors near the fan or aircon during the hottest times of the day.
