walking outside
Hi everyone,
We took Sasha out for a run over the park a couple of weeks ago and the next day she was limping on her left hind leg. She doesn't seem to be in pain and lets us rub it and manovre it about after a minute or so of using it she walks fine. Anyway we rested it and it went away. When we took her over the park for a walk on Saturday she ran around abit but didn't jump around and she seemed fine. She had a nap when we got back and when she got up the limp was back and again after a minute or two the limp went. It seems like everytime that she lies on it she limps after she wakes up, its fine first thing in the morning. Its like she's got a dead leg or something like that xx

Re: walking outside
Hi
The vet said that she couldn't feel anything, gave her an injection and told us to get her to rest it, which I might add is almost impossible with sasha as I swear she was born with springs in her feet. She still limps but only after a off the lead run, im wondering if its got something to do with the ground being wet and soggy. Shes been grounded since Monday and shes not a happy puppy !!!!

Re: walking outside
My last staffie had similar problem and vet said it was a staffie thing where she fought against her body growing and caused the damage to her rear knee, she only limped on it sometimes and it got to the stage it was like she was playing the sympathy card to get me or my ex to rub it then should would run off happy as Larry. Never really bothered her a lot til we went really long walks but if we were up the local golf course it never bothered her as she ran about mad,
