Still depressed or just tired ?
Hey again. Sorry for all the posts but Dodger sleeps on the sofa a lot ! I take him for about a hour and half walk in the morning and about the same in the evening. I play tug of war with him when we get back :p and he's eating fine but he does sleep a lot is that normal or is he still depressed ?

Re: Still depressed or just tired ?
That sounds like the right amount of exercise and is about what Rocky has each day. Why would Dodger still be depressed? sorry if I have missed something

Re: Still depressed or just tired ?
I posted before that he wasn't eating properly, but that was because of the change of environment ( I have only had him for about a week and a half ) and he was with his brother in his previous home

I removed your other post, I'd say he's probably still settling in.

Re: Still depressed or just tired ?
Mine wake up around 6am, are up playing, eating etc until around 9am and then back to sleep until about 13:00/14:00. Then it's walk and play until supper time, a bit more play and then a nap around 18:00. They wake up again about 20:00 for a little play and then nod off around 21:30 for the night.

Biscuits a lazy little miss and will sleep and cuddle happily all day, Max is half Labrador and is much more active, he will find ways to entertain himself if he's bored and potter around the house a bit.

Re: Still depressed or just tired ?
Pixee is a lazy madam in the mornings, I am up at 6.30am, she is in my side of the bed under the quilt sleeping till she needs the toilet. Then back to my bed till around 10am. Off for walkies. Then she will either sleep where the sun is shining unless I am in the office, upstairs, then she will sleep in sons bed, we have a play around lunch time. Another walk around 4pm. Then she will sleep till the boys are home, then its playtime, ever while I am cooking, she knows just where to stay out of my way . She will either play with the boys after tea, then me, then another late night short walk, back to sleep and she loves her bed when we finally go upstairs to bed. So yeah its a dogs world, a tired dog is a happy dog.

Re: Still depressed or just tired ?
Bane's pretty lazy! He sleeps until about 5:30ish when the OH lets him out and then up to bed with me. He then stays in bed until 10/11am, has breakfast and back to bed for an hour. Then goes for a walk, back home for play time and being naughty. Normally has an afternoon nap, anywhere from half an hour to 2 hours. Lunch then play time when OH gets back, another walk and he's ready for cuddles and sleeps on the sofa by 7pm! Guess it's just normal
