Dog ID (JRT X Staff?)

We rehomed another JRT who has just turned 12 months and the more we see him now his with us the more we're thinking his crossed. I thought the parents may have been Boxer x Staff but I'm not sure. If anyone could take a look at the pics and give some feed back, also on aprox. age as it's not 100%.

Does look like he could have a little bit of staffy in him to me, those back legs are strong and muscly like a staff! He is gorgeous by the way Big Grin

He definitely looks like a JRT to me! Did they mention anything about him being a cross when you guys got him? Smile

my Nan's JRT is the muscliest little dog you've ever seen - everyone thinks she's a boy Laughing

deffo don't think the parents are boxers, possibly staff? I wouldn't say so though unless he's a puppy which means he'll develop a little bit more, mentally and physically but don't think there's any staff in there but the age (12 months) seems about right for him so there won't be much change now - he's gorgeous though Love Struck

I'm no professional, but if you showed the picture and asked what he was, I wouldnt have hesitated to say JRT. In your picture no 13, he seems identical to the other dog. His face doesnt look like any boxer I've ever met and he doesnt remind me of my own dog either (possibly a SBT/EBT cross). His paws are a bit chunky, but that's surely a terrier feature.
