Peeing in the house :| coming into heat

Hi, My sapphie is now 8 months old and I believe she is coming into her 1st season. I don't know the full symptoms, but I just have a feeling, her moo moo is enlarged, she keeps licking herself, her behavior has changed, shes vomiting, going outside to wee and poo but little comes out, if any. No blood yet tho :/

My main concern is that she keeps peeing in the house, even in her bed, on other peoples beds, the floor. Is this related to her coming into her season?? or is it just bad behavior?

Also, we are getting her spayed after this season has finished.

It could be her season, but it could also be a Urinary Tract Infection. A season can often make them pee more, but it does sound a bit excessive. Maybe a quick vet trip would be in order, just to make sure.

Spaying at under a year old is, in my opinion, far too early. If was me, I'd wait until at least after her second season and preferably two years old.

Maybe a quick trip to the vet is needed, as said above there may be an infection there. I also agree she is a bit young to be spayed, did the vet recommend this at her current age ?

Yh we took her up the vets when she was a little pup for her injections and we asked what age to spay her, as we've herd that a bitch should have at least one season before spaying, but the vets said it was a myth and the earlier the better. 6 months + so if she never had a season before 6 months, she could be spayed before having any seasons. We didn't as we were going on holiday and she was staying with a friend and we knew it would be upsetting if we went while she just had an op (shes home-ified and clingly like that ha ha) but now its too late to spay so now we have to wait til the season is finished

It is best to wait until they are more matured, so 2/3 seasons. My sister had her staff spayed before her first season on the advise of her vet and she now struggles with bladder contro;.

Thanks everyone for your advice. She is now in her season, bleeding and all :/ she hasnt peed in the house since (plus shes wearing nappies haha)
