He ate the adaptil plug in!
Came in tonight to find the adaptil diffuser in pieces, apparently it made a good chew toy! To be fair I had left it unplugged! But why's he chewing now? He's not chewed before! Nothing different today! Maybe adaptil is tasty any ideas?

Darcy goes through chewing phases, firm no, or leave it works for us, could he be bored? Some safe toys and his kong will hopefully keep him busy.

Rocky went through his chewing phase too, as Hayley said, lots of toys and kongs worked wonders! Kept him busy and distracted, we also invested in a stag bar or deer antler which you can buy from amazon or eBay, keeps him busy for ages!!

Could it be the change in lack of light now the days are getting shorter ? It may be frustrating to our dogs.

Re: He ate the adaptil plug in!
Can't agree more with anyone else, all have fab answers! Could he need a few extra minutes of walkies maybe? It seems like just a phase to be honest! sometimes ebony rips a wrapper up every couple of months but she has run of the house and has NEVER destroyed anything, that might be the case with him! I wouldn't worry too much unless his chewing/destroying gets worse

Re: He ate the adaptil plug in!
The pheremones it releases will be relatively new to the house, so it could be that he's seen it and gone to investigate this interesting new object and found that it has a very interesting scent! With everything else in the house, he's probably gotten used to them, but the plugin is foreign, and therefore he might have decided it was a toy.
Or he could just be a daft brush!

I think he thought it was a toy, you know the top of it is kinda round and yellow, well his ball is same size, shape! And it was on the floor( my bad) where the ball would be!
