Daisy on RAW - Week 7
First topic message reminder :
So a new week a new thread
Been back to the RAW shop today, the lady was so excited that our first weeks gone well, it was lovely
Anyways, this is the week 2 menu
We continue with the minced chicken carcass and introduce lamb tripe, one day of each for a few days and as long as she's OK on it I can then mix it up a bit or serve both together. One of the sausage packs does 3 meals so it will actually be a day and half of each.
She's had the tripe for tea, ate it fine and not been sick, thank god, would not have fancied clearing that up!
It stinks though, smells like sewage As long as she likes it though!
So far so good....still

Re: Daisy on RAW - Week 7
Daisy was just going once a day which makes me wonder!
Bought her some chicken wings but she's eaten her tripe and left the wing I tried holding like you said and she just licks it!

Today's probably not a good day to try with her sore paw, thought she might like something different!

Re: Daisy on RAW - Week 7
Well its a bit hard to tell as I'm in darkness (power cut!) and don't want to shine the torch in her face! But from the noises I'm hearing sounds like daisy is eating her chicken wing!!

she might not realise the turkey neck is food, tough love it out. Just give her that no treats or other food until she's eaten it

Re: Daisy on RAW - Week 7
So week 5 Not adding anything new this week as I have lots in the freezer to use and make space!
I did get a dried lambs leg from the petshop at the weekend, put it down after tea tonight to see what she thought of it (vids in the video gallery!)
She hasn't put it down so I've just taken it off her so she doesn't have too much at once!
What I can't understand is she's happy to naw away at dried stuff, the leg, pizzles, hoof and even the frozen chicken yesterday but a bone with fresh meat on it is a real struggle....any thoughts on why??
