Poor Dempsey nearly passed out Empty Poor Dempsey nearly passed out

We went to see my brother today, so everything was really busy and up in the air. Once we were there, we went over to a nearby park with Dempsey. He had a load of mad dashes all over the place, then suddenly stopped, walked away for a bit and then keeled over! He was lying on his side with his head stretched upwards, looking all distressed and panting. Then when he was urged onto his feet, he was swaying and couldn't support himself properly. Poor thing Sad

Before anybody worries, there's nothing wrong with him now. Smile He was extremely stressed out earlier, as the last time people went into the car was when my brother went off to uni. The journey was quite long, as well, which distressed him even more, and he hadn't had anything to eat. All of that, along with the excitement of him seeing my brother and the sudden burst of energy he exerted in the park, sent him dizzy. He was feeling a bit sorry for himself after that, but he perked back up once we got home and he had some food! Tongues

It was quite worrying to be honest, especially as BTs are promo to heart problems!

I think, though, that it was a mixture of excitement, panic, and sudden madness on a completely empty stomach. It only lasted a couple of seconds or so, and he was back to normal really quickly.

Bless his heart what a boy... so much love to give it wiped him out. It kinda makes you proud that a dog wil do that for a human. Thousands of years companionship right there.
