Running
I have decided that I am going to start taking Molly running with me now shes nearly 18 months. I think she will make it fun for me and vice versa!
She and I are starting slow I thought a mile or so initially and gradually build it up? Does anybody have any advice? She has a relatively good level of fitness at present.
What I also wanted to know is whether anyone had any suggestions on the best hands free leads? And do they work or are they just a fun gadget which I think I should have (like the agility tunnel hehe )
Thank you

Re: Running
Im just starting bike joring with my two and will be building up stamina over a few months. I think your mile or so is a perfect benchmark and work up from that.
The hands free lead is a big hit with canicross guys and as your running it should suit you well.

Love buying gadgets but I always get told by my oh 'do you really need that?' sometimes I do have to confess he is right and said gadget only gets used once then put in the dog bag.

Re: Running
I use the Buddy System Dog Leash and it works great. I have two on it and hold one for Piggie. Most times I only run with the boys as Piggie has an exercise allergy

Re: Running
Hoping to get the bikes out soon and start taking Tommy cycling , don't think Tilly is up to it these days as her build , though she isn't chubby, seems to put her out of breath quite quickly

Re: Running
I wouldn’t jog with my dog
Forced running is not to his taste
He finds it quite charming
When sniffing and marking
For walks to be fun, not a slog
