Re: puppy shaking
Sounds like a daft question, but what's the temperature like over there? If I remember right, this will be his first winter, won't it? It could be that the temperatures have dropped and he's feeling the cold.
Unless he has other symptoms, such as sneezing, vomiting, coughing, discharge from the nose/ears/eyes/mouth, limping, diarrhoea, etc., he's probably just cold.
If it gets worse, one thing you could try is waking him. If he's easily woken, it will almost definitely not be a seizure.
Of course, it could also be that he's dreaming.

Re: puppy shaking
Hi,
It was quite warm last night.
I did notice this morning that he has cream like discharge from his 'little man'
Could it even be muscle spasm to warm body to fight infection,il see in a day or so how he is

Re: puppy shaking
The discharge from his 'little man' (nice expression there! ) could be normal, as they do sometimes leak from down there!
In cases of infection, there would usually be other signs such as discomfort, lethargy, vomiting, etc., but it wouldn't hurt to keep an eye on him. If it persists and you're still concerned, you could phone your vet to see if they could put your mind at ease as well.

Re: puppy shaking
If only to put your mind at rest, that would be the best plan. If necessary, ask the vet to take him in for the day under observation, so that they can see for themselves what happens when he's relaxing/sleeping.
Please try not to worry and do let us know the outcome.

I know, I know how frightening it is when our fur babies are ill.
Not long to go now - you'll find out tomorrow. The waiting is the hardest part.

update : (before vet call)
As soon as we went to bed last night he stoped shaking and i woke up a few times just to find him sleeping, woke up about 6:30 and he had a mini shake for couple of secs and hasnt done it since so massive improvement.
He is crying abit this morning, something he does do in general sometimes, alot of times puppy wakes up (he sleeps in our bed always) then he gets restless sometimes because he must think because hes up we have to get up lol,i have left him on the bed now so he can try and get some more sleep. overall im much happier but still going to phone the vet to see what they think
