Hi its defo normal lol and drives us mad. Has your dog got lots of chew toys and perhaps a treat ball that can be stuffed and frozen for them to play with. Mine has a deer antler part that I got at a pet shop that was recomended on here and loves to chew it. Mine at five months loves nothing more than to eat anything so we make sure he has lots bones and toys and balls..

Yes, very normal for a pup! Great advise above - lots of chews and toys to keep pup occupied.

Kongs come highly recommended on here, stuffed with tasty treats like a bit of cheese, peanut butter or even your pup's meal. I like freezing things like carrots, apples, bananas and that sort of stuff. It's really hot over here at the moment so I fill tupperware bowls with water, stick a treat in the middle and freeze those too which keep them busy. Coconuts are also great for diverting their attention!

Try and make sure nothing is in her reach that she shouldn't have. Though they do eat things you wouldn't expect them to when they are pups biggrin

Just a word of caution....please don't be tempted to buy rawhide chews. They can swell in the stomach & if a large piece gets swallowed they can very quickly cause a serious blockage! They also often contain bleach & other chemicals which are used to strip the hair from the hide!

Bailey does exactly the same, if i take my eye of him for two seconds he has something new in his mouth. On saturday, i pulled stones, mud - yes mud from my plants, a worm, a nail - god know where he got that from, a leaf, and paper out of his mouth and this was all in about an hour!

And yes he has plenty of toys - we try to regulate his toys so he doesnt get bored of them all as Ive read you shouldnt give them all their toys in one go but he still prefers to eat stones, leaves etc......

He totally gives the game away cos he looks at me then does a runner as fast as he can!! shame on you

I also love the advice, particularly the one about freezing a treat inside an ice cube - bailey barked at the first ice cube i gave him lol, such a wally!

Jax did the same thing (and still does). He used to try to eat rocks... like full stones. He's gotten immensely better with age and I find having a good "leave it" command has helped a lot. It makes him think before he goes for something he's not supposed to... although, if it's really enticing (socks, fabric of any sort) he will just think about it and end up going for it anyway Laughing
