Washing her!
HI,
So the new puppy and old dog are almost friends - the problem I am having now is that the older dog keeps licking and trying to wash the new puppy which is aggravating the new pup!
Any Suggestions??

Re: Washing her!
It's quite a normal reaction. If the pup isn't happy with it then you can tell the older dog to 'leave' but it could be her way of getting close to the pup.

Re: Washing her!
If they were human it would be like the child going "mum stop spitting on a hanky and washing my nose!!" but it is a bonding thing really the puppy will move if it gets too much.
