puppy keeps crying
Broxi keeps having these moments threw out the day where he crys and when he sits hes puts his head to the floor, its annoying as hell because i dont know whats up with him, it seems ever since hes been on wainwrights hes never been the same 2 weeks this weekend. 2 weeks ago just before he went on the food he had vomit loose stools and not long ago there he had loose stools again 3 times during the night.
His stools have always been up and down considering i had him on a dry food when i got him then changed to jwb then raw and now hes on wainwrights all in 6 months, atm his stools and a golden brown colour which i hear is good,it can be more soft to firm type stools.
I have an appt at the new vets tomorrow anyway to get him registered and get his last worming tablet untill hes 1 yr old.
I feel like i should change his food again

Re: puppy keeps crying
Pups cry for many reasons including boredom, anxiety (inc anxiety from owner)
With regard to the food - stick to one and persevere, you need to allow a good 6 weeks before you notice any changes in general condition.
Is he arching his back ? Drooling ? Tail between legs ? These are distress signs.
I'm sure the vet will see you right, let us know how he gets on.

Re: puppy keeps crying
Personally can't see why the food would promote crying ( I use Wainwrights too btw )
How did you perform the changeover as you went from Raw back to dry , obviously for most it is just a change of brand and we advise a gradual changeover for a 2 week period.
Personally I would stick with the Wainwrights for the moment as there could be other underlying problems you don't know of , get him into the vet and express your concerns and get him checked out before making any decision on changing food

I agree with Dave can't see the food causing the crying, could well be boredom or anxiety, wainwrights is a good food stick with it and let us know how the trip the vets goes

I also give him some boiled rice last nyt instead of his meal to see if that helped abit,he just went there 2secs ago as he just had his dinner and his stool was very firm so pleased today,i know most dogs can have that in the morning then it becomes less firm during the day so il keep and eye out.
I really dont want to change his food i like wainwrights in general it seems like a very good dry food,i put him on the wainwrights quite quickly tbh,i did it for couple of reasons, one was it was the time he was vomiting and diarrhea,so he went threw one day without eating anything untill night time where he had boiled eggs, next day i give him some bland food followed by a small hand full of wainwrights, next day i give him more wainwrights (small bowl) and more bland food, and by 3 days he was on wainwrights full time.
Is he arching his back no Drooling no Tail between legs no

I can empathize slightly, Moo does a weird thing of just laying there sort of whimpering, she just wants attention and knows 9 times out of 10 she will get it, I just think she is sneaky

Boss crys when he is bored, needs out to pee or just wants to be walked.. many reasons why they cry and im 99% sure its not the food. hope everything goes well at the vets.
