Staffy Skin bumps?

Every time we take sky into a woodland area/ long grass/ basically anywhere for off lead runs she comes back with bumps! I don't now if you can see from the photos but her fur looks ever so bumpy. Has anybody else experienced this or know what it may be. She doesn't seem irritated, or they dont look or seem sore. Maybe its stinging nettles but i read that dogs only get stung where there is no fur.

Any ideas? Her skin is sensitive anyway, Lots of trips to the vets with skin irritations, But she needs her off lead adventures!?

Probably bites or more than likely nettle stings. I would`nt worry most dogs get them but you notice them more on short haired dogs.

As Paul says just some irritation from the grass or maybe nettles , especially if she is a sensitive girl to start with , you can rub her belly over with a damp cloth as soon as you get home to help out and maybe try half a piriton

you can try to antihistamine to see if it helps but keep an eye on it a it will be to the dr if they grow or become "angry/red"

Definitely a reaction to nettles or grass, Vinnie has had a few but as Dave says half a piriton a day for a while soon sorts it out. 

Rocky often gets these too, try an antiihistamine if you are worried about it. It looks exactly the same as I've seen on many dogs - a reaction to something probably the grass.

I have just read about the dilution alopecia...a common problem in blue staffys. one of the symptoms was bumps due to infected hair folicles...does anybody else have infomation on this? as a puppy sky lost hair which has grown back. there are pictures in my previous posts. im a bit worried now

Yeah thats what i read :/ something to think about if anything else goes wrong with her skin

Lily gets them, it is usually the grass or nettle stings, they always settle
