Blue staffy skin problems
Hi, our 17th month old blue staff, Bruno is having problems with his skin. he seems to get small lumps/hives which started with a few but seems to have spread all over his body. he isnt itching but you can certainly see this under his fair. almost like his coat is very thin. weve been reading about giving him benadryl (25mg). we groom him every day. hes bathed in oatmeal shampoo, he has grain free kibble with raw chicken (no red meat). he gets really anxious going to the vet so we are trying to sort it ourselfes. does anyone have same issue or any recommendations. thanks kerry

Re: Blue staffy skin problems
Certainly sounds like a reaction Kerry. The raw sounds fine but what kibble are you using ?... I'm no expert on the food and the diet section here might give you some pointers too. I'm sure others will recognise these symptoms and offer advice.

Re: Blue staffy skin problems
Sounds like an allergy to me. The RAW diet may be fine unless he si allergic to chicken. We went through the same issue with Suki but ended up having to see a dermatologist to find out what she was allergic to.

Re: Blue staffy skin problems
Our blue staffy had this and it was allergic reaction to frontline flea treatment so now has advocate and we feed her fish in oil a few times a week and her skin is now shiny and healthy
